It was gaming night at my local gaming store - and they had a promotional card for us.

New league kit?

Did the card come in the monthly kit?

I dunno if it was a kit. There was no figure, just a card for everyone.

Hmmm interesting, one attack at +13 or two attacks and a possible rend at +11 but lesser damage(10) if only one hits.

Thats not just a small change, thats huge. We'll just have to wait and see. I can't imagine a 1.0 version going through a dramatic change like that.

I found this link on ebay regarding this new promo. I bought two

You have to realize the changes will be large. The game is going to be very different.

I'm sorry this does not seem to be a big change at all

I like the way the have mixed the rend in. I believe its (without hint of the rules) a more powerful creature.

Is this on the January monthly kit? Can someone confirm this?

Thanks!
Rafa.

That looks 100% legit to me. I haven't seen the re-stat, but everything in that blurb appears to be in order.

Two details are missing, though

I like the trade-off between the two attack actions.

We still need the rule book to explain some of the things on the card I think, I eagarly await it.

Strategically speaking, it makes a big difference to have two attacks but that can only be targeted to the same creature. This is quite a different process than thinking: ok, next round, first attack on that anoying kobold and second attack against the big enemy.

We have to tune our minds a little differently if both attacks need to target the same creature.

Evil and Large ?

I doubt a troll is big E evil enough to get the evil descriptor.

Its factions would be my guess (Borderland/Underdark?)

I'd guess borderlands (red) and wilderness (green).

2 details huh? What about:

(1) The spined devil is an uncommon and so it has black border and the Feral Troll is rare and so it has a silver/grey border? Or Maby there is a Black Border on the Devil because he has the key word evil and a Grey Border on the Troll because he does not have any key word (Good or Evil) hence he may be neutral? That would leave a White Border for Good?

(2) The Feral Troll has the red and green symbols which may be civilization and wilderness? As compared to the Spined Devil which has Blue and Purple symbols (border lands and underdark?). Can anyone conform the colors with the new factions? Red = Helmet/Skull Green = 3 leaf clover or celtic looking design, Blue = lightning spark looking symbol, Purple looks like some kind eye.

(3) I don't see any reference to size on either the Troll's or the Devil's card. However the picture of the Troll is noticably larger than that of the Devil's picture. Maybe thats why The Devil has the Black Border and the Troll has the Grey/Silver Border?
